Television:  The television is equipped with Roku service to allow you to use your favorite streaming provider(s).  The TV is set to Guest Mode when you arrive.  Simply indicate when you will check out and the TV will automatically remove your log-in credentials on check-out day.

To access local channels, go to the "Live TV" tab in Roku located under the "Home" tab on the left-hand side of your TV screen.  Additional streaming services can be added upon request.

Gas Heater Stove:  The gas heater stove in the living room can be turned on by turning the switch to the ON position (see picture below).  Please note the pilot light will remain on, even when the unit is turned off (see picture).

Heat Pump/Split Units: 

This property is equipped with a Heat Pump system to control the climate in the house.  Heat Pumps can efficiently reverse airflow direction to transfer heat in or out of the home via a reverse valve built into the compressor.  Adjustments, however, to air temperature in the house are slower to feel than a traditional a/c system.  Please allow 30 to 45 minutes for an adjustment to be "felt" in the house. 

Use the Nest thermostat located in the living room to make temperature adjustments to the whole house.  Do not attempt to control individual temperatures in each room.  If you would like us to set a temperature schedule for you please let us know and we are happy to create that schedule for you.  Schedules can be created from our offices without interfering with your stay in the house.

Trash/Recycle Collection:  Trash/Recycle is collected Wednesday morning after 6AM.  Please place bins at the curb on Tuesday evening, at least 5' apart.  Do not hesitate to contact us for assistance if you need. 

Smoking:  Smoking is permitted outside only.  Please dispose of extinguished cigarettes in the ashtray/receptacle provided.

Pets:  Pets are NOT allowed on the property

Guests:  You may have guests visit while renting this property.  However, prior approval by VMG Vacation Rental management must be obtained if someone other than those disclosed on the rental agreement are to stay overnight.  Anyone on the property is the sole responsibility of the Guest.

Garage:  The garage is not available for use.

Electric Car Charging Station:  There is an electric charging pump located just inside the back yard gate for your use, if needed.

Housekeeping:  Housekeeping services upon check-out are arranged at time of booking; however, if you would like to schedule additional housekeeping during your stay, give us a call for an estimate.  Most of our long-term guests use this feature when staying over 30 days.

Bar-b-que Grill:  A Weber natural gas grill is available on the back patio for your use.  To use, turn the Automatic Grill Shut-Off valve clockwise to a position past the 20-minute setting to activate the valve (see picture below).  Then, turn the gas on and use the igniter to fire it up.

 

 

Fire Pit:   The fire pit is fueled with natural gas.  It is equipped with an automatic shut-off valve, just like the bar-b-que grill.  To use the fire pit, turn the Automatic Grill Shut-Off valve clockwise to a position past the 20-minute setting to activate the valve (see picture below).  Then, start the fire pit by turning the dial to the Start position and depressing the igniter to fire it up.  

Party Lights:  To turn on the party lights in the back yard, turn the toggle switch located in the back of the house next to the electrical panel to the ON position.  See picture below:

 

Private Car Gate Entry:  You are welcome to use the keypad to enter the property.  The code is 4144.  There is also a remote opener that looks like a garage door opener in the house (under the TV)  that you are welcome to use.  Please remember to leave it behind when you check out.  The cost to replace is $40.

Check-Out Instructions:

• Please  place all used towels in washer--using hot water and highest spin speed--and run.  Please do not use fabric softener on the towels.
• Do not strip the beds
• Place trash/recycle in the appropriate receptacles outside 
• Load and start dishwasher, to include coffee pot/grounds basket and coffee grinder cup (if used)
• Please remember to leave the gate remote opener under the TV
