Trash Collection: Trash/Recycling is collected Monday mornings after 6AM. Please place bins at the curb Sunday evening, at least 5' apart. Do not hesitate to contact us for assistance if needed.
Cooling System: The property is cooled by refrigerated air. Please feel free to adjust the temperature settings to suit your comfort. The thermostat is designed to memorize your temperature preferences.
Fireplace: The fireplace is a wood-burning kiva fireplace. Use only commercially packaged, wax fire logs such as Duraflame or Pine Mountain. Do NOT use wood. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.
Bar-b-que Grill: A Weber charcoal grill is provided for your use. Charcoal is available in the side compartment of the grill, and it is equipped with a propane igniter. Simply open the propane tank to supply fuel to the burner and press the igniter button. The propane should be turned off after the coals are lit (5 minutes). The propane is used only for starting the coals, not for use as a heat source for grilling. Please clean the grill after each use.
Doorbell: The doorbell is located at the courtyard gate entering the property. If you are expecting guests or a delivery, the bell will ring in the house, but you will need to physically open the gate entering the courtyard to let them in if the gate is locked.
Smoking: Smoking is permitted outside only. Please dispose of extinguished cigarettes in the ashtray/receptacle provided.
Guests: You may have guests visit while renting this property. However, prior approval by VMG Vacation Rental management must be obtained if someone other than those disclosed on the rental agreement are to stay overnight. Anyone on the property is the sole responsibility of the Guest.
Pets: Pets are NOT allowed on the property.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping services upon check-out are arranged at time of booking; however, if you would like to schedule additional housekeeping during your stay, give us a call for an estimate. Most of our long-term guests use this feature when staying over 30 days.
Garage: The garage is available for use. A remote garage door opener is provided, please remember to leave it behind when you depart! There will be a $50 charge for lost or removed remote.
Master bedroom & Living room Television: We use a Roku system for television viewing. The TV will be set on Guest Mode, so your credentials will clear the day you check out of the property. If you have a subscription to a streaming service you may select that service and log in with your credentials. Your credentials will be removed when you check out.
To access local channels, go to the "Live TV" tab in Roku located under the "Home" tab on the left-hand side of your TV screen. Additional streaming services can be added upon request.
Check-Out Instructions: Check-out is at 10AM, unless otherwise arranged. We ask you to kindly:
- Load and run dishwasher , to include coffee pot/grounds basket and coffee grinder cup
- Place used towels in the washing machine and run with hot water using fastest spin cycle. Do NOT use fabric softener on towels.
- Please DO NOT strip bedding--housekeeping will take care of this for you
- Place all trash/recycling in appropriate bin outside
- Place garage door opener on the console under the living room TV
